Car Museum Day

The Dezer Collection is a really large museum of cars (some other vehicles, too, but mostly cars) that is literally a couple of blocks down the street from my apartment building. It's been there for about 4-5 years, but I'd never been. Besides classic cars, it has almost every famous car from the movies that you can think of. It's pretty expensive, but my mom and I found a coupon deal where we could get half price tickets, so I bought 3 and gave my dad his for Father's Day. We finally went today, and it was really fun! Here's just a tiny sampling of all the stuff they have.

First, some neat fiberglass car sculptures right on the wall of one of the two museum buildings:

A wood car (no idea why this one's upside down)!

This one is so cute...

And now, it's earworm time! See if you can get these TV and movie themes out of your head:

I'm not sure the Inspector Gadget theme is particularly catchy, but the dashboard console is awesome:

There were some cheap looking mannequins and displays, so we goofed around with them:

And now for a few non-car vehicles. First up, Indian bike!

My dad said his dad had one of these huge three-wheel bikes...I can't imagine riding one!

I have never ridden on a Vespa (probably for the best), but if I did, it would be this one:

Old cars had so much more style and personality...

So, yeah, we had a great time, and my dad loved it! Like I sad, this was just a tiny sampling of what they have. Hard to believe one person owns it all.

Back to writing!

Love,

"Kay"

I think I saw this on a tv show recently. Looks like pop culture overload which is right up my alley. I want to go to there.
